At Bark Country, we take dogs beyond the sidewalk and into the wild, leading exciting hiking adventures across Colorado’s Front Range — from Boulder’s Flatirons to the Denver Foothills and beyond. Because we believe every dog deserves more than just a walk — they deserve a tail-wagging, trail-blazing adventure.

FAQs

How long are your hikes?

Most hikes are around 4–6 miles (about 2 hours on the trail). Including the car ride, your pup will be out exploring for roughly 4–6 hours.

Hikes are currently offered on weekdays, with morning pickup and afternoon drop-off.

What do we need to join the pack?

For everyone’s safety and fun, all pups must be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines (DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella, and Lepto), and on a flea & tick preventative. Since we hike as a small group, your pup should be friendly with other dogs and comfortable riding in the car.

How do I get started?

  1. Ready to hit the trail? Fill out the form below, and I’ll be in touch—call, text, or email, whatever works best for you—to chat about your pup and how we can adventure together. 
  2. Let’s meet! A quick 30-minute visit with you and your pup to say hello, go over logistics, and make sure we’re all a good fit for adventure.
  3. Trial hike time! Your pup’s happiness and safety come first. We’ll hit the trail for a test run—and if they have a blast, we’ll get a routine rolling!
